Robber's Cave (known locally as Guchhu pani), located near Sahasradhara, is a river cave formation in the Himalayas, located approximately 8 km from the centre of Dehradun in Uttarakhand, India. The cave is about 600 metres long, and divided into two main parts. The cave has a highest fall of about 10 metres.
An octagonal shaped temple – located near the confluence – dated to 1889, is credited to Maharani of Indore – Ahalyabai. Though originally built to install a Shiva linga, it now houses a Vishnu image. A stairway from this temple leads to the Vishnu kund (kund means pool of water or lake) at the confluence, which is seen in a tranquil state.

Dakpathar, also spelled Dakpatthar and Dak Pather is a small hill town situated in Dehradun district of Uttarakhand, India. It is on the left bank of the Yamuna River and 45 km (28 mi) northwest of the city of Dehradun. Dakpathar lies about 790 meters (2,590 ft) above sea level at the foothills of Shivalik range.
