Sharon is a city in western Mercer County, Pennsylvania, United States. The city, located along the banks of the Shenango River on the state border with Ohio , is about 15 miles (24 km) northeast of Youngstown , about 65 miles (105 km) southeast of Cleveland and about 60 miles (97 km) northwest of Pittsburgh .
The population density was 26.7 inhabitants per square mile (10.3/km 2). There were 471 housing units at an average density of 13.9/sq mi (5.4/km 2 ). The racial makeup of the township was 99.12% White , 0.22% African American , 0.33% Asian , 0.22% Pacific Islander , 0.11% from other races .

Quaker Steak & Lube is a casual dining restaurant chain based in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.It was founded in 1974, in Sharon, Pennsylvania.The original restaurant was built by George "Jig" Warren III and Gary "Mo" Meszaros in an abandoned gas station in downtown Sharon, and decorated with license plates and old automobiles.
