The University of Westminster is a British university in London, formed in 1992 as a result of the Further and Higher Education Act, 1992, which allowed the London Polytechnic (Polytechnic of Central London or PCL) to rename itself as a university.
It replaced the original Westminster Adult Education Service building, which was constructed in 1898. The old building's datestones were preserved in the new building's design. [ 10 ] It was completed in September 2017 at a cost of £15,739,942. £30,297 of this was spent on acquiring the building. [ 19 ]
