The Smyser and English Pharmacy building, also known as the Leedom & Wissler Pharmacy, is an historic, American pharmacy building that is located in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. [1]
Henry Kendall Mulford (October 10, 1866 – October 15, 1937) [2] was a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. Soon after purchasing the Old Simes retail pharmacy store, Mulford began producing and selling pharmaceutical preparations. In 1889, he received financial investment to expand operations from Milton Campbell.

Temple University School of Pharmacy was founded in 1901, initially as a two-year program sharing classes with the Medical School.
