Val Joe "Rudy" Galindo (born September 7, 1969) is an American former competitive figure skater who competed in both single skating and pair skating.As a single skater, he is the 1996 U.S. national champion, 1987 World Junior Champion, and 1996 World Bronze medalist.
He was the first male figure skater from Great Britain to win Olympic gold. As an amateur competitor, Curry was noted for his ballet-like posture and extension, and his superb body control. Along with Canadian skater Toller Cranston , Curry was responsible for bringing the artistic and presentation aspects of men's figure skating to a new level.
