David Mann (() September 10, 1940 — () September 11, 2004) [2] was a California graphic artist whose paintings celebrated biker culture, and choppers.Called "the biker world's artist-in-residence," [5] his images are ubiquitous in biker clubhouses and garages, on motorcycle gas tanks, tattoos, and on T-shirts and other memorabilia associated with biker culture.
Ghost Rider has been identified by various media as being, or as possibly being, Swedish ex-racer and mechanic Patrik Fürstenhoff. [4] [5] [1] [6] [7] Fürstenhoff is listed at Guinness World Records as holding the record for the first documented 220 mph (354 km/h) wheelie on a 500 hp (370 kW) turbocharged Suzuki Hayabusa, [4] [5] and an earlier wheelie record.
The club's name is emblazoned on the top rocker of the three-piece patch. The center patch features the Grim Reaper in red holding a scythe, and is referred to as "the Ghost." The territory where the chapter operates appears on the bottom rocker. An "MC" patch appears to the right of the Ghost, when facing the cut.
