Theodore Allison Nash II (October 29, 1932 – July 3, 2021) was an American competition rower and Olympic champion, rowing coach, and sports administrator. [1] [2] Nash participated, either as a coach or athlete, in eleven separate Olympic Games from 1960 to 2008.
Jack Carlson FRSA (born May 22, 1987) is an American designer, author, archaeologist, and former U.S. national team rowing coxswain. He is the founder of the New York-based apparel brand Rowing Blazers, [1] and has led the revival of several British and American heritage brands, including Warm & Wonderful, Gyles & George, and Arthur Ashe.

Prior to the 2020 Olympic Games, he finished second in the men's coxless four at the 2017 Junior World Rowing Championships; third in the same boat class at the 2018 Under-23 World Rowing Championships; fifteenth in the same boat class at the 2018 World Rowing Championships; and 6th in the men's eight at the 2019 World Rowing Championships. He and his rowing partner Paul Enquist won the gold medal in the double sculls at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games. They were the first American rowing crew to win a gold medal in any event since 1964. [3] He also writes books, including an account of his 13-year Olympic gold medal effort: OLYMPIAN.
