On February 19, 2024, Aespa officially announced their second world tour, Synk: Parallel Line, via X and Weverse, with the first stop scheduled in Seoul on June 29 and 30, 2024. [2] During their first stop in Seoul, the members unveiled solo performances featuring new, unreleased tracks. Each member participated in writing their solo songs.
In May 2024, Karina appeared in KBS's variety music programme Synchro U as a cast member, [22] where she won the Rookie Award – Show and Variety Category at the 2024 KBS Entertainment Awards. [23] It was also confirmed on the same day that Karina will be a special DJ of the MBC FM4U 's radio show Lee Seok-hoon's Brunch Cafe on April 18 and 19.
The EP sold 787,600 copies and was the best-selling debut physical release by an SM Entertainment act at the time. The lead single "Savage" also became Aespa's second top-five hit in South Korea and their first top 40 entry on the Billboard Global 200 .

On November 6, teaser videos inspired by the concept of television drama were released for Winter and Giselle, [6] with Karina and Ningning's teasers following the next day. [7] On November 9, the music video teaser for "Drama" was released. [8] The extended play was released alongside the music video for "Drama" on November 10. [9]
