Louisiana Highway 25 (LA 25) is a state highway located in southeastern Louisiana.It runs 38.72 miles (62.31 km) in a north–south direction from U.S. Highway 190 (US 190) in Covington to the Mississippi state line north of Warnerton.
This part of the Covington bypass was opened to traffic in 1958. [4] The second half of the bypass, which runs west to east, was opened in 1969. The Louisiana Department of Highways petitioned the American Association of State Highway Officials (AASHO) to move US 190 to the new bypass while making the former alignment a business route.
A short distance later, LA 21 branches to the northeast toward the city of Covington, taking the main flow of traffic with it. LA 1077 proceeds northward, and over the next three miles (4.8 km), the highway passes Madisonville Elementary School, crosses Brewster Road, and reaches a diamond interchange with I-12 at exit 57.

LA 1077 branches to the northwest before LA 21 intersects Interstate 12 (I-12). From south of I-12 and until joining U.S. Route 190 Business (US 190 Bus.) on 21st Avenue in Covington , LA 21 is multilaned, in places divided by a median or by a center turn lane, with some control of access .
The road begins at an intersection with US 190 to the west of downtown Covington. The business route continues eastbound into downtown Covington until it reaches Louisiana Highway 21 (LA 21). From here, LA 21 begins to run concurrently with US 190 Business until it returns to US 190 on the east side of Covington.
