Francesco Caprio (born November 24, 1936) is an American retired judge and politician who served as the chief judge of the municipal court of Providence, Rhode Island, and chairman of the Rhode Island Board of Governors for Higher Education. His judicial work is televised on the program Caught in Providence.
His death was confirmed by Rhode Island State Police Colonel Steven O'Donnell, who called Ouimette "one of the most notorious villains Rhode Island has ever known." [11] His body was sent back to Rhode Island for a funeral and burial. [3] Ouimette had more than ten criminal convictions in his life, including one for punching an FBI agent.
