Lake Loramie State Park is a public recreation area located on the northeast side of Fort Loramie, Ohio. It occupies 407 acres (165 ha) on 1,655-acre (670 ha) Lake Loramie [ 3 ] and is operated by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources .
It serves to connect Lake Loramie State Park with SR 66. Its southern terminus is in Fort Loramie at the intersection of North Main Street (SR 66) and Elm Street. near the northern edge of Fort Loramie. SR 362 then runs about 1.1 miles (1.8 km) east, then turns north at its intersection with Fort Loramie–Swanders Road (which continues east).
The Wichita Falls–Lawton and Paris–Hugo areas are often included in Texoma or Texomaland due to their proximity to the Red River and the Texas/Oklahoma border. Texoma mainly comprises the area and cities surrounding Lake Texoma , which includes eight counties.

Fort Loramie was established as a fur trading post in 1769 by Pierre-Louis de Lorimier (usually anglicized to Peter Loramie), a French-Canadian fur trader, British Indian agent and Shawnee agitator, and his father. The Shawnee used the trading post as a staging area for attacks against Americans during the Revolutionary War.
Loramie Creek is a 40.0-mile-long (64.4 km) [1] tributary of the Great Miami River in western Ohio in the United States. Via the Great Miami and Ohio rivers, it is part of the watershed of the Mississippi River , draining an area of 265 square miles (690 km 2 ). [ 2 ]
