The Iowa Wild are a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL) based in Des Moines, Iowa.Beginning play for the 2013–14 season as the AHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League (NHL), the team's home games are held at Wells Fargo Arena.

Kyle McClellan (born March 18, 1999) is an American professional ice hockey goaltender for the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL). He played college ice hockey at Mercyhurst and Wisconsin. He won the Mike Richter Award as a senior in 2024.

On 8 July 2022, Špaček was drafted in the fifth round, 153rd overall, by the Minnesota Wild in the 2022 NHL entry draft. [4] On 6 March 2023, he signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Wild. [5] [6] He began the 2023–24 season with the Iowa Wild of the AHL. On 29 November 2023, he was reassigned to the Iowa Heartlanders of the ECHL.
