In Shibuya Station, Nanami, Maki, and Naobito encounter the cursed spirit Dagon, who had been a curse womb. Dagon evolves to a stronger adult state and traps all three of them in his Domain Expansion. Nanami and Naobito are consumed by a hoard of his shikigami.
Yuji and ex-salaryman jujutsu sorcerer, Kento Nanami, investigate and encounter two cursed spirits. During the fight, Yuji reveals his cursed technique: using cursed energy to amplify the power of his punches and superhuman strength. Nanami deduces that the "curses" they're fighting are actually transfigured humans.
In a mission to contain a Special Grade Cursed Spirit, Yuji and his colleagues are greatly endangered, so the young sorcerer gives Sukuna control of his body, to defeat his assailant. Sukuna destroys the opponent, but seizes the moment of freedom to rip out Yuji's heart, and attempts to kill Fushiguro, becoming very interested in the latter.
