Mako: Island of Secrets is an Australian television programme for children and teenagers created by Jonathan M. Shiff.Internationally released as Mako Mermaids, the show is a spin-off of H 2 O: Just Add Water and is produced by Jonathan M. On 8 August 2012 it was moved to Secret of Mako Island because "Production company changed series name". On 11 March 2013 it was moved back here because "the trailer shows its name was "Mako Mermaids"".
