Heat-shrink tubing (or, commonly, heat shrink or heatshrink) is a shrinkable plastic tube used to insulate wires, providing abrasion resistance and environmental protection for stranded and solid wire conductors, connections, joints and terminals in electrical wiring.
The company soon invented heat-shrinkable tubing also targeted at electronic applications. [3] By 1980 the company had expanded to over 30 countries, including a major branch in Swindon, UK and made the Fortune 500 list. [4] It was recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in the United States at the time.
Clear Creek is a tributary of the South Platte River, approximately 66 miles (106 km) long, [3] in north central Colorado in the United States. The creek flows through Clear Creek Canyon in the Rocky Mountains directly west of Denver, descending through a long gorge to emerge at the town of Golden, finally ending in the Colorado Eastern Plains where it joins the South Platte.
