    Hi Kathleen, there has not been a change in Gmail. Did you recently install or update Internet protection or disk cleanup software? Either of these could be deleting cookies which forces a sign out. Disable the cookies deletion or create an exception for google.com. Kathleen Ward.

    Google has removed the "Less Secure Apps" switch from all user's accounts. So, for Outlook 2007, go to your Google account, turn on 2-Step Verification and then generate an App Password. Open Outlook 2007, bring up your Gmail account in Account Settings, and replace the existing password with the 16 digit App Password you just generated.

    The password screen clears and I can enter it again. I do and click Next. A CAPTCHA appears and my password blanks out. I enter my password and the text string and click Next. "Wrong password. Try again or click Forget password to reset it." The CAPTCHA is gone and the password field is blank. I enter my password again and click Next. Same screen.
