It is four miles from Indian Church, and can be accessed by road from Orange Walk Town or by boat from the New River. San Carlos is small, with a population of 154 (2013) of Mestizo ethnicity.
Blue Creek, also Blue Creek Colony, is a Mennonite settlement that is also an administrative village in Orange Walk District in Belize. It borders Blue Creek river, which forms the border to Mexico. Its inhabitants are Plautdietsch-speaking Russian Mennonites. In 1958 Blue Creek was founded by Old Colony Mennonites from Mexico.

San Pablo is a village in the Orange Walk District of the nation of Belize. At the 2000 census the population was 926. The people of the village are mainly of Yucatec Maya(Maya Mestizo) Descent. Most of the villagers of San Pablo speak Spanish inside the village but they also understand English. Many of the elders continue speaking Yucatec Maya.
