The mineral spring near the station was also reconstructed (by draining mineral waters). Since 2022, a new modern technical and hygienic train maintenance center has been under construction, which is also to be established in Nové Zámky, Košice and Humenné. It is located near the building of the Main Passenger Railway Station in Zvolen.
