The Sanctuary of Santa Rosalia is a church and pilgrimage site located on via Bonnaojust outside of the urban neighborhoods of Palermo, nestled against a stone cliff wall on Mount Pellegrino, which looms to the north of the Sicily city.
Rosalia (Italian: [rozaˈliːa]; Sicilian: Rusulìa; 1130–1166), nicknamed la Santuzza ("the Little Saint"), is the patron saint of Palermo in Italy, Camargo in Chihuahua, and three towns in Venezuela: El Hatillo, Zuata , and El Playón.

The flanking bell-towers were added in the 18th century, and embellished with statues depicting Saints Phillip Neri, Rosalia (added in 1651), Ignatius of Antioch (holding the palm-frond of martyrdom and menaced by a lion at his feet) and Francis of Sales (added 1751).
