The Emirate of Multan was a medieval kingdom in Punjab region in the northwest Indian subcontinent [3] that was centred around city of Multan (present-day Punjab, Pakistan). [1] He was deposed by Mahmud of Ghazni, [2] who also massacred the Ismailis in the course of his conquest of Multan.
