The City of Toronto Paramedic Services (TPS; formerly known as Toronto Emergency Medical Services) is the statutory emergency medical services provider in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The service is operated as a division of the City of Toronto , under the Community & Social Services cluster. [ 1 ]
Trillium Health Partners was formed with the amalgamation of the Trillium Health Centre and the Credit Valley Hospital on December 1, 2011. The two-site Trillium Health Centre was itself the result of a 1998 amalgamation between Mississauga Hospital (established 1958 as South Peel Hospital) and Queensway General Hospital (established 1956).

The addition gave the hospital modern emergency facilities and included operating rooms and obstetrical facilities. 1935 - Sunnyside Wing West constructed to accommodate nursing students.
