The Iowa Law Review is a law review published five times annually by the University of Iowa College of Law. It was established in 1915 as the Iowa Law Bulletin. [2] It is ranked 17th among 1550 journals indexed in the W&L ranking. [3] The journal has been student-edited since 1935.

The List of law schools in the United States includes additional schools which may publish a law review or other legal journal. There are several different ways by which law reviews are ranked against one another, but the most commonly cited ranking is the Washington & Lee Law Journal Ranking .
The law school was founded in 1865 by George Grover Wright and Chester C. Cole as an independent law school in the state capital of Des Moines as Iowa School of Law, but it moved to Iowa City and became part of the University of Iowa in 1868. It is the oldest law school west of the Mississippi River.

The Journal of Corporation Law (JCL), at the University of Iowa College of Law, is the nation's oldest student-published periodical specializing in corporate law. [1] It published its first issue in 1975. [2] Its current adviser is Robert T. Miller, who joined the College of Law faculty in August 2012.
