Final Fantasy XI is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), and differs from previous titles in the series in several ways. Unlike the predefined main characters of previous Final Fantasy titles, players are able to customize their characters in limited ways, including selecting from one of five races and choosing their gender, facial style, hair color, body size, job, and ...
A phase diagram showing the link between structural and chemical classification. Hexahedrites contain mostly kamacite because their chemistry only allows kamacite as a stable phase. Hexahedrites are a structural class of iron meteorite .
Phase diagram explaining how the pattern forms. First meteoric iron is exclusively composed of taenite. When cooling off it passes a phase boundary where kamacite is exsolved from taenite. Meteoric iron with less than about 6% nickel (hexahedrite) is completely changed to kamacite. Widmanstätten pattern, metallographic polished section
A phase diagram showing the link between structural and chemical classification. Octahedrites are the most common structural class of iron meteorites . The structures occur because the meteoric iron has a certain nickel concentration that leads to the exsolution of kamacite out of taenite while cooling.
Kamacite has been found and studied in Meteor Crater, Arizona. Meteor Crater was the first confirmed meteor impact site on the planet, and was not universally recognized as such until the 1950s. In the 1960s United States Geological Survey discovered kamacite in specimens gathered from around the site tying the mineral to meteorites. [22]

A meteorite mineral is a mineral found chiefly or exclusively within meteorites or meteorite-derived material. [ citation needed ] This is a list of those minerals, excluding minerals also commonly found in terrestrial rocks.
A more recent reference states that the meteorite is an iron meteorite belonging to Group IIAB, which can be classified as either a hexahedrite or a coarsest octahedrite. [3] Chemical analysis showed that the material contained 6.3% nickel (Ni), 0.5% Phosphorus (P), 53.9 parts per million (ppm) Gallium (Ga), 141 ppm Germanium (Ge), and 0.02 ppm ...
