Parma (Italian: Stazione di Parma) is a railway station serving the city of Parma, in the region of Emilia-Romagna, northern Italy.The station opened in 1859 and is located on the Milan–Bologna railway, Pontremolese railway (to La Spezia), Brescia–Parma railway and Parma–Suzzara railway.
The Brescia–Parma railway is a railway line between Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna, Italy. It was opened from 1884 to 1893. [2] Services are operated by Trenord. For most of the day there is an hourly service in each direction. Journey time is approximately 2 hours.

The Parma–La Spezia railway is the railway line that connects Parma, Italy with the Genoa–Pisa railway near La Spezia over the Cisa Pass through the Apennines. The route is approximately 120 kilometres long. Its Italian name (ferrovia Pontremolese) derives from the town of Pontremoli, one of the main towns it passes through.
The station has three tracks for passenger trains (tracks 1, 3 and 4) served by a platform and connected by an overpass and many other tracks for prolonged stops of freight trains, between 255 and 430 m in length. Trains can continue to Parma (direction indicator "2", single track) or to Fidenza (direction indicator "1", single track).
