Aberdeen (/ ˈ æ b ər d iː n / AB-ər-deen) is a city in Grays Harbor County, Washington, United States. The population was 17,013 at the 2020 census . [ 5 ] The city is the most populous in Grays Harbor County and the region's economic center, bordering the cities of Hoquiam and Cosmopolis .
The streets travel from the highway's western terminus at US 101, which continues west to Hoquiam and south to Cosmopolis, across the Wishkah River and merge onto Wishkah Street near a shopping center. US 12 leaves Aberdeen and follows the Chehalis River east through Central Park as a four-lane divided highway.
