Joseph Nguyễn Năng (born 1953) is a Vietnamese prelate of the Catholic Church who has been a bishop since 2009 and the Metropolitan Archbishop of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Saigon since October 2019. He was elected president of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Vietnam in October 2022.
Compared to other titles available to the heads of sui juris Eastern Catholic Churches, the title of "major archbishop" falls below "patriarch" and above "metropolitan archbishop". The title is used for archbishops of episcopal sees that were founded more recently than the patriarchal sees and are therefore less prestigious.
