Map of Cabuyao. The City of Cabuyao in the province of Laguna, Philippines is subdivided into eighteen (18) urbanized barangays. [1] Six of them are located along the National Highway, six on the lakeshore of Laguna de Bay, the country's largest lake, three Poblacion Barangays which was created under the Presidential Decree No. 86 and three on the western part and elevation portion of the city.

Cabuyao is 45 kilometers (28 mi) away from Santa Cruz, the provincial capital, and 8 kilometers (5.0 mi) from the city center of Calamba, the chartered city and regional center of Calabarzon region. The only lake found in Cabuyao is Laguna de Bay. Barangays situated along the lake are Bigaa, Butong, Marinig, Gulod, Baclaran and Mamatid.

The 40th district takes in the cities of Tustin, Yorba Linda, Lake Forest, Laguna Woods, Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Brea, Villa Park, Aliso Viejo, eastern Orange, and eastern Anaheim, as well as the census-designated places North Tustin, Silverado, Williams Canyon, Modjeska, Trabuco Canyon and Coto de Caza.
The commission received the official 2020 U.S. census data on which the maps must be based, by law, on September 21, 2021. Draft maps were released then on November 21, and final maps were submitted to the California Secretary of State on December 27, 2021. [15] The new districts are considered "enacted" as of December 27, 2021.
From 2013 to 2023, the district included Costa Mesa, Emerald Bay, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, Newport Beach, Seal Beach, Sunset Beach and parts of Garden Grove, Midway City, Aliso Viejo, Santa Ana and Westminster. [3] It was very competitive and had recently been won by each of the two main parties.
