The Cornerstone athletic teams are called the Golden Eagles. The university is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), primarily competing in the Wolverine–Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) since the 1992–93 academic year.

Warde Joseph Manuel [1] (born May 22, 1968 [2]) is an American college athletics administrator and former American football player. He has served as the 12th director of athletics at his alma mater, the University of Michigan, since January 2016.
Currie served as Executive Associate Athletic Directory at University of Tennessee until 2009. [5] He also served on the NCAA Division I Administrative Cabinet from 2010 to 2015, and became a Life Member of the Fiesta Bowl Board of Directors. [6] From 2009 to 2017 Currie was the athletic director of Kansas State University. [7]
In 2018, Kelly took the job as vice president of athletics at the University of South Florida. [3] In addition to being the athletic director at USF, Kelly serves as vice chair of the NCAA's Championships Oversight Committee, the President's board of advisors for St. Thomas University, and the board of trustees for St. John's College High School.
