    Rapid weakening is expected today, with steady weakening continuing after that. Gilma is forecast to weaken to a remnant low by Thursday night. Hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 15 miles (30 km) from the center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 70 miles (110 km).
