    The Augusta Regional SPCA Spay/Neuter Clinic is a low-cost clinic welcoming pets and their owners from across the entire community. Healthy dogs and cats 8 weeks and over and weighing at least 2 pounds are eligible for surgery.

    The Augusta Regional SPCA provides an adoption facility year-round to the communities of Augusta County, Staunton, and Waynesboro, and to all communities outside these areas. On September 1, 2011, the ARSPCA relinquished the duties of intaking stray companion animals to the Shenandoah Valley Animal Services Center in Lyndhurst, VA.

    In keeping with CDC recommendations regarding the spread of COVID-19, we are requiring appointments for visitation with adoptable animals. Appointments are one hour in length and limited to five appointments per hour.

    Pets for Seniors. Through The Jack Didawick Adoption Fund the Augusta Regional SPCA is offering a “Pets for Seniors” program. Any qualifying senior 65 years and older may adopt a 2+ year old dog or cat from the Augusta Regional SPCA at a special rate. Cats can be adopted for $25, dogs for $50.
