No. If you are using Citrix Workspace App on your personal workstation and are launching an application (Outlook, Adobe, Excel, Internet Explorer, etc) then the only activity that can be monitored is what you do within that application. If you leave Citrix open in the background or minimized, your employer cannot see what you do on your local ...
Now, we need the Citrix Gateway appliance with a load of different resources just to run Remote Apps externally. Anyone have a good blog / site for a quick Citrix Gateway setup? I have Storefront working fine internally. Wizard from the Gateway appliance to setup Virtual Apps just fails stating the Storefront server is invalid.
I also tried a suggestion from the Citrix forums to no avails (basically only setting up nfactor auth). I'm sure part of the problem is that we are on 13.0 line of ADC, AND we have to allow pin and push. Currently, its setup to use the DUO Proxy talking to AD, but we have the SSO part of DUO setup. The DUO documents seem to assume you are the ...
We are already using DaaS and I noticed I can just enable the Citrix cloud gateway (workspace configuration) , create my custom URL and access my desktops/apps that way. Seems way too easy to configure, am I missing something? I'm just sick of managing our netscalers and constantly patching them, hoping it doesn't break anything. 1.
Citrix Gateway Store is loading for ages after ADC NS update. I tried to update Citrix ADC from 13.0 Build 79.64 to 13.0 Build 88.14. After the update I checked accessing the Gateway I noticed smth. strange. When I use my local PC everything workes fine.
I want to achieve the following: Use Citrix Gateway as the internal connection point and let users SSO into workspace app and start their VDI desktop. Configuration: - Gateway: Citrix Gateway has a LDAP authentication policy. - StoreFront: The Store has "Pass-through from Citrix Gateway" enabled. - Client: Add the Gateway URL to Local Intranet ...
Pros: lower overhead for you and your team because upgrades and infra is all taken care of. Cons: Lack of insight when shift hits the fan and you’ll be waiting just like everyone else for a resolution until it’s fixed. We moved to Citrix cloud a few months agap and are happier with the management aspect.
I have Citrix ADC 13 set up for our Citrix farm, we used a Citrix Gateway Virtual Server to set it up. Everything is working great. The Virtual Server does not listen on port 80, so if we type in the URL and the browser doesn't automatically redirect to HTTPS then the connection times out.
A virtual server is configured to use two Delivery Controllers, which run CVAD 1912 CU4, as STAs. Authentification and launching Apps / Desktops work fine, but the Gateway does not detect the workspace app of the client. A user can either choose to use the lightversion or select "Already installed". If I connect to the storefront, internally ...
On each failed login, in the Gateway console I see this error: wi_server is either down or is not vip/csw type Citrix Gateway. The Web interface is set to the internal storefront web interface. I tried doing curl -v WEB INTERFACE URL and got an connection timeout. The hostname is reachable when I ping it. Only http/https connections are timing out.
