Desi Boyz is a 2011 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film [3] directed by debutant Rohit Dhawan, son of director David Dhawan. The film stars Akshay Kumar , John Abraham , Deepika Padukone and Chitrangada Singh [ 4 ] while Sanjay Dutt features in an extended cameo.
The title of the film was taken from the popular song "Bachna Ae Haseeno" from Hum Kisise Kum Naheen (1977), which starred Kapoor's father, Rishi Kapoor. Bachna Ae Haseeno was released on 15 August 2008, on the 61st Indian Independence Day , and grossed ₹61.57 crore worldwide, becoming the eighth-highest grossing Hindi film of 2008 .

The music for Dishoom is composed by Pritam Chakraborty while lyrics have been penned by Kumaar and Mayur Puri, with Ashish Pandit as a special guest. The music rights have been acquired by T-Series. [21] The full music album was released on 16 June 2016. [22] Pritam remixed "Subha Hone Na De" from his original composition from Desi Boyz.
Karunaratne Abeysekera (3 June 1930 – 20 April 1983) was one of Sri Lanka's most famous Sinhala broadcasters. He was also a poet and songwriter and was widely admired for his excellent command of Sinhala. [2] Abeysekera wrote the lyrics to over 2,000 songs, a record for a lyricist in Sri Lanka.
