The Bratislava Zoo (Slovak: Zoologická záhrada Bratislava) is a zoo in Bratislava, Slovakia. It is located in the area of Mlynská dolina in the borough Karlova Ves. Opened in 1960, [1] it is the second oldest zoo in Slovakia. The zoo covers an area of 96 hectares (240 acres), out of which 35 hectares (86 acres) is open to the public.

The Botanical Garden of the Comenius University has had 5 directors throughout its history, the current one has been Jaroslav Bella since 1991. [6] The area of the botanical garden is also occasionally used for events, exhibitions and open-air summer musical concerts and it is a desired place for weddings.
