If you want to dump it using your computer, you need to own a compatible bluray drive (not every pc bluray drive can read ps3 discs) and then you need to decrypt it. Trying every possible update, patch and installing everybody and their grandma's build trying to get a handful of my favorite PS3 games from when I owned the console working.
For all the games below I used the recommended config settings from RPCS3 for each individual game. Games that didn't have recommended config settings I didn't touch at all and just stuck with the default config settings. FINALLY onto the games: 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand :Works great. Works great upon booting up.
If you get games from Vimm or the archive.org main file they are in folder format. If you follow the guide on RPCS3s website it will tell you where to put the folders within the folder structure the emulator creates as it mimics the folder structure of the ps3 to run games from.

On a base M1 Max 16inch. Here's been my performance so far with default settings. Jojo's All star Battle - Constant 28-30fps -very bad audio stuttering. Completely playable on mute. Asura's Wrath - First level 27-30fps. No issues but needed to get deeper into the game. Armored Core Verdict Day- 9fps max. Unplayable.
Running natively on Ventura, the emulator is RPCS3. It runs ROMs, that you should absolutely rip yourself to avoid legality issues :). I’m using a PS4 controller since it natively works with macOS, and it also runs natively with the emulator so no setup required. Reply reply. walkintom.
