This is my default setting for this command, because it gives the best results on most Websites. If I set this command to "Medium," Wikipedia's new and old layouts look the same -- but most other Websites look awful. Other degradations in Wikipedia's new layout: Pages are noticeably slower to load.

Unfortunately, spammers can and often do add spam to Wikipedia pages. Fortunately, anyone can quickly revert to a spam-free version of the page; it's so simple that most spam is eliminated within minutes. See Help:Reverting for what to do if you happen to be the first on the scene.
I am against totally rearranging things for no actual good reason. I don't fully know the process of Wikipedia yet, nor if feed-back is followed up on, but I turned off "new features" because the search bar was moved.
