Circa-1960 Saab two-stroke engine 2010 Suzuki K10B engine. Among the first cars to use a straight-three engine is the 1953–1955 DKW F91, powered by a 900 cc (55 cu in) two-stroke engine, although this was predated by the 3 cylinder 15hp Rolls Royce produced in 1905 and a number of other cars of this era also used 3 cylinder engines.
The new motor offered more HP, torque, and higher fuel economy. This I-4 engine replaced the older 8v 4 cylinder, but the 3-cylinder engine remained unchanged. 2001 – The Metro's final year. The only model available this year is the four-door LSi sedan. The Metro continued on sale in Canada.

Three-cylinder fans were known as W or W-3 engines. The appeal of the fan configuration was that, because all the cylinder were above the horizontal there was little danger of the plugs being fouled by the lubricating oil. The disadvantage, particularly for an aircraft engine, was the extra weight required to counterbalance the pistons.
The medium-duty 1930 A-series trucks received the all-new 278.7 cu in (4.6 L) FB-3 six-cylinder engine, with overhead valves and seven main bearings. This was complemented by larger versions of the same engine and was built until late 1940 (as the FBB), [ 7 ] the line-up being expanded downward by the smaller FA-series (later FAB) in 1933.
It was the last A-series variant, produced from 1997 to 2000. Few changes were made to ensure the engine complies with Euro 2 (later Euro 3) emission standard, such as adding a 3-way catalytic converter and making it twin-point injection, the engine also receive changes with ignition system by having a wasted spark instead of the distributor ...
A cortado is a Spanish beverage consisting of espresso mixed with a roughly equal amount of warm milk to reduce the acidity, [1] [2] although the exact ratios have considerable regional variation. [3] The milk in a cortado is steamed, but not frothy and "texturized" as in many Italian coffee drinks. [4] The cortado is commonly served all over ...
The distance from cylinder 1 to 2 is 3.4375"; 2 to 3 =3.875"; and 3 to 4 =3.4375". The B series shares many design features (such as the heart-shaped combustion chambers and siamese inlet ports designed by Harry Weslake ), as well as its basic layout and general appearance, with the smaller BMC A-series engine .
