Bluff City is an unincorporated community in Hickory Township, Schuyler County, Illinois, United States. Bluff City is located on Illinois Route 100 , 8.5 miles (13.7 km) east-northeast of Browning .
In 1949, Bluff Equipment Inc., a Case IH, Kubota, and Arctic Cat dealership, was founded, and is still located there. In addition, it is rumored that debris from the Chicago Fire of 1871 was dumped near Bluff City. Bluff City was also the home of the Okaw Valley Opry, operated by Bill and Eveyln Oliver for many years.

Bluffs is a village in Scott County, Illinois, United States. The population was 715 at the 2010 census. It was briefly (1969–1971) the location of the WJJY TV Mast, the tallest structure (1,610 feet tall - 491 m) built to that date in Illinois. Bluffs is part of the Jacksonville Micropolitan Statistical Area.
Lake Bluff, Illinois was first settled in 1836. In the mid-1870s, the Lake Bluff Camp Meeting Association, a Methodist Episcopal camp, was founded on 200 acres (81 ha). Most structures at that point were of contemporary architectural styles, but were mostly one-story wood-frame buildings.
