Delhi–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor (Delhi–Ahmedabad HSR) is a proposed high-speed rail line connecting India's capital Delhi with the city of Ahmedabad. When completed, it will be India's second high-speed rail line. It is also said to be an extension of Mumbai–Ahmedabad HSR corridor. [5]
The Delhi-Ahmedabad corridor is part of the greater Delhi-Mumbai corridor and once completed, will connect Mumbai, the financial capital of India with New Delhi, the capital of India, and will bring down the travel time from existing twelve-hour journey on regular rail to three and a half hours.
The train also has one or two End-on-Generation cars at either end. This train is popular with passengers and made a daily train in 2009. Previously, it used to run 5 days a week. As a Rajdhani Express, it is a Superfast train and gets the highest priority on its journey between Ahmedabad and New Delhi.

The 22925/22926 Ahmedabad - Okha Vande Bharat Express is India's 34th Vande Bharat Express train, connecting the city of Ahmedabad with Okha in Gujarat. [1] This train was inaugurated on 24 September 2023 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video conference from New Delhi between Ahmedabad Jn and Jamnagar, [2] which was later extended to Okha on 12 March 2024.
It operates as train number 12215 from Delhi Sarai Rohilla to Bandra Terminus and as train number 12216 in the reverse direction, serving the states of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra. When the train was introduced, it ran only up to Jaipur Junction being subsequently extended to Mumbai Bandra Terminus.
