Ellerslie Road (or 9 Avenue SW) is a major arterial road in south Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The original rural area was named Ellerslie by early Scottish settlers, and the name was applied to the local school district by 1895. [5] When the rural grid road Township Road 514 was later built, it soon earned the nickname Ellerslie Road.
