Radio DeeJay is an Italian radio station. It was founded on 1 February 1982 by the Italian radio and television personality Claudio Cecchetto and was acquired by the Gruppo Editoriale L'Espresso (GEDI) in 1989. In 2020, Exor (belonging to the Agnelli family) became the owner of GEDI and consequently of Radio DeeJay.
DeeJay TV is an Italian music TV channel, opened in 2002 as a music satellite channel, and re-launched in 2009 on digital terrestrial television. It was bought in 2015 by Discovery Italia, who changed it to a general-entertainment channel and later renamed it to Nove. DeeJay TV reopened in 2018, again on digital terrestrial television.

After giving up studying law, Scotti began his broadcasting career as a disc jockey" [2] at Radio Milano International. In 1982, he moved to Radio DeeJay and a year later became the host of DeeJay Television, the first Italian programme for music videos, broadcast by Italia 1. Scotti also hosted other music programmes such as Festivalbar.
