iwspy is used to monitor a set list of nodes and record the link quality of each of them. The information gathered is the same as that available in /proc/net/wireless: quality of the link, signal strength and noise level. This information is updated each time a new packet is received, so each address of the list adds some overhead in the driver.
Linux also features iwspy, to read the signal, noise and quality of a wireless connection. Other related tools for configuring Ethernet adapters are: ethtool, mii-tool, and mii-diag in Linux and the command dladm show-link in Solaris. The ip suite has a similar purpose and is meant to replace the deprecated ifconfig. [6]
Before the release of ImageJ in 1997, a similar freeware image analysis program known as NIH Image had been developed in Object Pascal for Macintosh computers running pre-OS X operating systems. Further development of this code continues in the form of Image SXM , a variant tailored for physical research of scanning microscope images.
ifconfig — Display or configure network interface. inotifyd — Run a program when a filesystem event occurs. insmod — Load the module named MODULE passing options if given. install — Copy files and set attributes. ionice — Change the I/O scheduling priority of a process. iorenice — Display or change I/O priority of existing process.
Image quality assessment is part of the quality of experience measures. Image quality can be assessed using two methods: subjective and objective. Subjective methods are based on the perceptual assessment of a human viewer about the attributes of an image or set of images, while objective methods are based on computational models that can ...
The side-gig industry is still booming, but not all side gigs are created equal and not all people doing them make enough money to justify the time and effort involved. According to Self, just ...
"Kash Patel must prove to Congress he will reform (and) restore public trust in FBI," Grassley said. What does this mean for Wray? The U.S. Senate confirmed Wray, Trump's nominee for FBI director ...
Contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) [1] is a measure used to determine image quality. CNR is similar to the metric signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), but subtracts a term before taking the ratio. This is important when there is a significant bias in an image, such as from haze. [ 2 ]
