The Cathedral of the Dormition, or the Kutaisi Cathedral, more commonly known as Bagrati Cathedral (Georgian: ბაგრატი; ბაგრატის ტაძარი, or Bagratis tadzari), is an 11th-century cathedral in the city of Kutaisi, in the Imereti region of Georgia.
It was an Orthodox church dedicated to the Dormition of the Mother of God.The architect Victor Nilsen designed and built this church between 1880 and 1887.
