Majin Buu (Japanese: 魔人ブウ, Hepburn: Majin Bū), generally spelled Majin Boo in subtitles of the Japanese anime, and rendered as Djinn-Boo in the Viz Media manga, is a fictional character and final antagonist in the Dragon Ball manga series created by Akira Toriyama, before the release of Dragon Ball Super.
Majin Boo (魔人ブウ, Majin Bū), written as "Majin Buu" in the English anime dub and translated as "Djinn-Buu" in the English manga, is a magical life form created by the warlock Bibbidi (ビビディ) eons before the events of Dragon Ball take place.
The eighth season of the Dragon Ball Z anime series contains the Babidi and Majin Buu arcs, which comprises Part 2 of the Buu Saga.The episodes are produced by Toei Animation, and are based on the final 26 volumes of the Dragon Ball manga series by Akira Toriyama.
