Pearls Before Swine (also known as Pearls) is an American comic strip written and illustrated by Stephan Pastis.The series began on December 31, 2001. [1] It chronicles the daily lives of an ensemble cast of suburban anthropomorphic animals: Pig, Rat, Zebra, Goat, and a fraternity of crocodiles, [2] as well as a number of supporting characters, one of whom is Pastis himself.
Maw and Paw are a couple who live with their children and dog in a rural part of the US. Their pet pig Milford appears to be the most educated and therefore the brightest in the family. A well-known running gag in the cartoons involves Paw stepping on a loose lumber of their house, causing his nose to get stuck in the hole of that wood as it flips.
Tom Turk and Daffy is a 1944 Warner Bros. Looney Tunes cartoon directed by Chuck Jones. [2] The cartoon was released on February 12, 1944, and stars Porky Pig and Daffy Duck. [3] The voices of Daffy and Porky were provided by Mel Blanc, while Tom Turk was voiced by Billy Bletcher. [1]
