Mid Suffolk is a local government district in Suffolk, England. The district is primarily a rural area, containing just three towns, being Stowmarket , Needham Market and Eye . Its council was based in Needham Market until 2017 when it moved to shared offices with neighbouring Babergh District Council in Ipswich , outside either district.

The site's history as a proposed ski centre goes back to 2001, when it was acquired by Onslow Suffolk Ltd, and planning permission was applied for in 2004. [4] Local planning permission for the project was granted on 21 April 2006 and public inquiry was announced on 26 July 2006 [5] which upheld the decision, subject to conditions. [6]
Wenhaston railway station was in Wenhaston, Suffolk.It closed in 1929, 50 years after it had opened for passenger traffic. The Southwold Railway Trust has submitted a planning application to reopen this station as a replica of the original, including a half mile of 3 ft gauge track heading towards Blythburgh.
