The 2024–25 Skeleton World Cup (official: BMW IBSF Skeleton World Cup) is a multi-race series over a season of skeleton, organised by International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF). It is the 39th edition for men and 29th edition for women of the highest international race series in skeleton.
She started as a 400m runner/ 400m hurdler and switched to bobsleigh in 2016. In the 2018/19 season she made her debut in the Bobsleigh World Cup. Since she has gone on to win multiple Monobob World Cup medals as well as finishing fifth in the 2022 Winter Olympics in the Monobob and fourth place in the 2023 and 2024 the Monobob World Championships.
During the 1930s Australian Frederick McEvoy competed with the Great Britain team in bobsleigh to win several Olympic and World Championship medals. This early success wavered after World War Two. When Australians started traveling to Europe in the early 1970s some thrill-seekers were exposed to the sports of bobsleigh and skeleton.
