Back at Squidward's house, SpongeBob and Squidward find Patrick, who shows them the jellyfish jelly. The three go to Jellyfish Fields, where Squidward recovers his clarinet from a jellyfish, restoring color and ending his narration. That night, Squidward plays in a jazz club for the jellyfish, SpongeBob, Patrick, and Mr. Krabs.

After not liking some of the museum's exhibits, Upturn takes a walk at Jellyfish Fields, where she sees Squidward playing his clarinet and causing a disturbance. Upturn, actually liking Squidward's music, introduces Squidward to her mansion, where Squidward writes many symphonies.
When they arrive in the Jellyfish Fields, a jellyfish stings Squidward, so he goes after it for revenge. He manages to catch the jellyfish, and bangs his net triumphantly against a queen jellyfish. The queen jellyfish chases after him, attacking him with a massive sting off screen, which SpongeBob, Patrick and the jellyfish all witness.
The jellyfish (vocal effects by Tom Kenny) are wild animals who reside in Jellyfish Fields, a meadow in Bikini Bottom, and have a strong affinity for music. Within the series, jellyfish behave like sentient insects, squirt jelly, buzz and swarm like bees, and can sting their enemies with electric shocks that leave painful welts.
