John Cullum (born March 2, 1930) [2] is an American actor and singer. [3] He has appeared in many stage musicals and dramas, including Shenandoah (1975) and On the Twentieth Century (1978), winning the Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical for each.
Cullum was born in New York City, the son of John Cullum, a noted Broadway actor, and Emily Frankel, a novelist, playwright, choreographer, and dancer. [1] He grew up in Manhattan [ 2 ] and currently resides in Los Angeles where he is a longstanding member of the Antaeus Theater Company.
