LAKELAND, Fla., April 1, 2021 — Starting with the Friday, April 2, scheduling opportunity, Florida residents ages 18 and older may use Publix’s online reservation system to make appointments for COVID-19 vaccinations at participating Florida in-store Publix Pharmacy locations for appointments beginning Tuesday, April 6.
Publix Pharmacy will offer both the Fluad, recommended for patients age 65 and older, and the Flucelvax for patients age 64 and younger. Both vaccinations protect against influenza A and B. Flu immunizations are available at no charge through most insurance plans.
