Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy Inspiration: Aman Ki Aasha tour is the first world tour [1] by Indian musical trio Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy. The tour started off on 17 July 2010, at the Izod Center in New Jersey, US. Gunjan Lamba was the choreographer of the tour. [2]
Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy were to make their debut as composers in Mukul Anand's film Dus. Director Anand wanted Ehsaan to compose the music for the film, but he insisted that Shankar and Loy work with him and Anand agreed. [15] The film remained incomplete after Anand's death, though the album was released later in 1999.
Shankar Mahadevan (born 3 March 1967) is an Indian singer and composer who is part of the Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy trio that writes music for Indian films. In 2023, he was awarded an honorary doctorate ( honoris causa degree) by Birmingham City University .
In 2008, the first night in the form of an Ensiferum concert was held. In 2009, the band Porcupine Tree came to India for the first time to perform at MI. [3] It also had performances by Parikrama, Alms for Shanti and concerts by the trio of Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy and Manna Dey.

The soundtrack and musical score is composed by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy and lyrics written by Prasoon Joshi, with the exception of one of the songs composed by Shailendra Barve and written by Amole Gupte, the film's co-director.

"De Ghumaa Ke" (Hindi: दे घुमा के, English: Swing It Hard), is a song composed by the trio of Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy (Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa) and has been sung by Shankar Mahadevan and Divya Kumar. It is the official song for the 2011 Cricket World Cup. It was released worldwide on 31 December 2010.
